How much $ do Big 4 employees get for referring a potential employee? For advisory, etc.

And does this count for referring a new graduate hire (not midlevel/senior) too? (someone currently finishing school and applying for entry level)

Thanks!

This used to happen, but I dont think it does anymore after the glut of people starting accounting courses.

Theres way more supply than demand.

In all the places I've worked it's generally been $1-2k. Depends on the role level though. Sometimes entry-level can be as low as $500.

My big 4 firm it's 1-2k for associate and goes up from there depending on the position.

It's some pretty big jumps too especially in the senior levels.

This is for experienced positions though. I don't think there is anything for university recruiting hires.. Since they are all pretty much referred by someone that they spoke to during recruiting events.
