I've never used LA Fitness and thinking of checking out the one near my house and there is one near my parents house (my old area) so I was wondering if LA Fitness is like Fit4Less or Anytime in that one membership grants you access to various locations??
Some of my buddies have it and they live in my old area so it'd be good to workout/play basketball with them on weekends when I'm in the area.

I paid $35 tax in and no BS fee. Cancelled and went back to GoodLife for less with corporate discount.

I joined about 3 yrs ago, paid $100 down and $50 mth tax in. More per month because it's the "Signature" gym on Don Mills

I think LA Fitness has the worst atmosphere though, the people at the gym think they own it and it's something that should be taken resolved if they want to keep a good brand image.

I joined at $40/mth, paid full year up front, no initiation but cancelled when the goodlife friends and family deal came along.
they tried to get me to stay at $35/mth but I didn't really like it there as much as I like goodlife

I too am looking for an LAFitness deal. On their web site published rates are $99 initiation & $25 monthly for signature club plus tax - which is less than the US site at $29.99 or something /mo
....... Or $ 35/month+tax for multi club
Best I could do for 2 memberships/ multi club was lower initiation and - 5$ Off a month
(I'm doing this from memory of a week ago so I might have missed a .99 somewhere)
I though there would be deeper discounts. But Looking on here I see some are much more ie GoodLife. But have massages/ tanning etc. I just don't think it's worth2 x rate for those privileges.

world gym here is 10.00 a month has everything 20.00 even includes massages and tanning but i much prefer ymca we have kids and with the pool its a bonus
