How much does kitchen island cost?

I am just buying a house which doesn’t have the island so I was wondering how much does it normally cost ? Nothing too crazy.
Let me know if you guys know anyone who build kitchen island.

If your willing to go with the re-use route you can probably get it all done for under $500

If you want to go high end you can get one for 5g
warming up the earth 1 gas fill-up at a time...

First question, do you actually have space?

After factoring clearances, islands take up a pretty sizable footprint.

Next up, what do you want in it? You could buy some ikea cabinets and a butcher block top and call it a day. Or you could get custom, solid countertops, plumbing, electrical, etc etc.

It all depends on size... (as my wife would say ;)
My cuz has a 48x120" island with waterfall edges . Yes it's huge.... that alone probably 10K+
