how much should I expect to spend on gaming laptop?

Hello all,

I am in the market for a gaming laptop. I need top of line graphic card to run VR gaming. Plus I do some 3D xray cone beam CT scan analysis for my work. So it has been to portable. How much should I expect for such laptop? What brand and model do you guys recommend?

I current have xps13 for everyday usage but graphic card cannot do VR gaming.
