how to read 2021 Nissan Qashqai's tire pressure indicator?

The normal pressure should be 33 as highlighted in blue (I assume), but why are my tires (when I start the car for the first time in the day) show 45+ psi?

Are you saying the readings go back down to normal once you start driving? Or do they stay at 45 psi?

Did you double check with a tire pressure gauge? If it's actually too high then just release some air and see if the number changes.

Qashqai's are built in UK. Cars built in UK seem to have their tire pressure overinflated to prevent flat spots during their trip across the ocean. Was also the case for 10th gen Civic hatchbacks built in the UK.

Dealership is supposed to check tire pressure as part of PDI but not surprised they F'd it off.

Use something to push in valve and release some air.

Lose a bit of pressure, all will be good. FYI that's the cold pressure as well. So do it first thing in the morning before driving.

Lower it to manufacturer specs usually found on the driver side door frame.

He probably just got his new car or that it just went in for an oil change and either the pdi or oil change monkey inflated his tires without care in the world.

Just remove air until it reaches 33.

That's gotta ride harsh with them being so over inflated.
