How to reduce the mirror dashcam vibration?

My mirror dash cam is quite shaky although the rear view mirror it is attached to is rock solid. Is this a limitation of mirror dash cams or should I use 4 ring strips to secure it instead of two?
Can some one please advise?

Buy a dash cam that attaches to the windshield via 2 sided gel adhesive.

The problem is the mirror is designed to move and because of this, it will be prone to vibration. Further, unless your dash cam is attached via very secure clips, it will also be prone to additional vibrations.
