pull up on that white piece and the bottom clip comes off, then you swing the bottom of the door towards the back of the closet or towards you depending on the style. lift the door up and it should come off the track. do the back one first

Is there a special trick to pull up that white plastic clip ? Tried last night to pull it last night and I was about to break (and it didn't move 1 mm).

The bottom part is really just a plastic clip. Pry it off the track and your golden

We have the exact same closet doors. Last time I took them out, I slid the screwdriver tip under the white clip to snap it off.

the bottom white plastic slides in the bottom rail , it should be free to move vertically. If you pop it "off", It will break. I have similar ones, and the only way I found to to take these off was to actually take ( unscrew ) the top rail out.

I have this exact same one, and I tried so hard to remove it when I did some work in the closet. It was near the point of breaking before I gave up. What a crap mechanism. I have the same closet, in the same location, with the same carpet, and had a hell of a time trying to remove it lol
Uh, yeah, I'd like to speak to a Mr. Tabooger, first name Ollie.

2. Once the door is free from the bottom track, lift the entire door upwards and off the top track (sits on rollers)

I wish it was that easy on mine. While it does sit on rollers, in mine I don't recall there being enough room on the top for the top roller slide over the guide rails.

I think those plastic things just snap into the rail. Since they don't pop out, maybe remove the rail and push the plastic guide through from the bottom?

Pull/tilt the bottom of door outward once its free from the bottom track. This causes the top of the roller to tip past/clear the the top lip of the rail. Now lift the door upwards and off the rail

i got this at home, just lift the doors up and get it off the sliding track. You will need to angle the door into the closet to help it off.

I don't mean to Hijack the OPs thread. but mine don't seem to popout by either tilting the door inwards( cant swing it inwards much because the lower portion of the wheels held in track) or outwards ( because the valance prevents the door from swinging outwards ). If the top track was taller, I'd surely be able to do it.

I'm not looking to take mine off at the moment anyways. OP is yours the same type or a different type ? In either case did you have any luck ?

actually was able to pull mine out since that is the most logical way ( swing the bottom out and lift up). the Valance did seem to prevent the lower part from swinging out , but since I have a spare door sitting somewhere I wasn't afraid of breaking it. But it dint break and I was able to lift it out after swinging it out about 60Degrees ( about this ( \ ) much ).

Thanks everyone

They were fairly easy to remove. I simply pulled the white plastic clips (with a screw driver) and then I was able to pop the rollers from the top track.

Glad I ran into this thread. I was unscrewing the top part, the screws got stuck, I looked for screws at the bottom, and only saw that plastic part. I was going nuts.

I read this thread, and the doors were off in under 5mins. Had some trouble tilting and removing from the track once the lower part was unclipped (use something hard to unclip it, your fingers will hurt otherwise), but I managed after a bit of tugging :)

Question: How do you remove the 4 metal attachments in the corners of the doors? I have tried and can't seem to get them off.

Hey guys. Read all your responses. Here's the easy way... unscrew bottom rail, move door (attached to rail) forward or out to get access under the rail. You're welcome!
