Pics would help but I would suggest any cement that will bond with what you currently have.

I’ll be using Sakrete Top n Bond from HD this week to repair a step and around window ledges.

Cheers and good luck !
Thread started in 2016 - 1927 fully gutted and renovated 2 storey detached home in the big T.O. - small projects still in progress.

RFD priceless!

I have the exact same issue. Bought this to fix it, hopefully it does the job but haven't tried yet.

I may seal it after with the following but doing that all around the foundation will be tough:

If anyone has suggestions for other products, I would be interested in looking into it as well.

Canada, Eh!!

2017 to 2018: BOC raised rates 5 times and MCAP raised its prime next day each time.
2020: BOC dropped rates 3 times and MCAP waited to drop its prime to include all 3 drops.

Yeah, more of a rough finish.

I actually used a brush and sponge along with trowel and was happy with somewhat rough finish.

Works well for outside.

Or even on concrete porch however might not wear as well due to foot traffic, chairs, tables, and weather.

Make sure to knock off loose old stuff first and clean (pressure wash) it all. It'll probably flake off much more of the old stuff and the new will just peel if you don't...
