How to select Vinyl fence?

Currently shopping for contractors to install vinyl fence in my backyard.

I interviewed a few but it seems all of them are using different vinyl fence products. Of course all of them are claiming their product is better than the competition. I'm a little bit confused. So here goes my questions:

1. Does the manufacture of vinyl fence make a big difference? One of them told me they use an USA company called VEKA's vinyl fence. The rest just told me it's Canadian made.

2. 3 of them use steel post. 1 does not. The 1 that does not use steel post is saying their vinyl is very thick so no steel posts are needed. Not sure which one is better: steel post vs no steel post needed?

Other than that are there anything that I should check before I make my decision? Thanks for the help in advance!

I’m not quite done with it just had it delivered but looks impressive. I did see someone’s place with it not too far from me it looks pretty good. The only issue I saw with that install is they come in 4ft or 6ft pre-assembled panels, that house went with 8ft not standard so they put two 4ft together to make 8ft. But there’s an upper and lower small bar that holds the panel together so they have a small different look in the middle of the fence. I think if you went 8ft this wouldn’t work well, but if you stick to standard 4 or 6ft it looks really sharp. Probably also depends on the installer, they probably could have removed the top and bottom and cut a little of the channel that holds it together to make one seemless piece. Either way the labor for that isn’t worth it. I’ll let you know once complete but even with paying install, i guess it’ll be around $100-140 per ln ft while quotes for metal fences were running $200-280. Also this is easier to dyi install and I would but I just don’t have the time to do it and need it done quickly as it’s going to hold up other parts of a project.

Anyway will let you know the results. If you do go sleek you can email them they gave me 10% off the prices because they have no official contractors in my area (contractor discount is 10%) and I think they’d probably give that to most people.

Thanks! Yeah I'm going for 6ft so should not be an issue for me. The trouble now is finding a contractor. I'm not handy so definitely need a good contractor.
