That's not a very good deal considering the quality of paper this is.

THIS DEAL: 0.9675c per sheet
Staples Simply paper is everyday $3.99 for a ream of 500, even cheaper as a case = 0.798c per sheet, cheaper in a case.

Indeed. Zellers used to be a good price for paper, these days i have not found an equivalent deal.
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people

You mean like this? https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/casemate-m ... hrelevance

If you need HP branded then the OP sale is quite good, however considering the bulk of all paper sold in this country come from one of the 4 main paper mill companies you don't really need to go with HP branded paper.

FWIW, this is the best deal I've found in a while for excellent paper (good weight and brightness, jam-free): $10 per 2 packs of 500 sheets of Hammermill:
https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/hammermill ... 0091879998

EDIT: Typo in the price!

And yes, there are cheaper 20-lb. papers, but this one is 97 brightness, FSC certified, and really is jam-free - it just doesn't stick to itself like other papers I've used. Heavier weight is nice, but only if you want to make an impression with your document, or need to print double-sided and don't want any ghosting. For laser-printed invoices, packing lists, shipping labels, etc. this is a great choice.

I am a fan of Costco's Xerox 24 lb., 96 Bright ream of 800 sheets ... normally about $9 but on sale regularly for $7.

This paper really isn't great. 20lb is "standard" paper, 97 is above average but weight much outweighs (no pun intended) brightness in terms of paper qualtiy.

Like buymore4less, the Xerox 24lb from Costco is fantastic quality and now the only paper I buy.

Also, when we're talking about just white Letter size paper, if they have the same weight and brightness, its pretty much the same thing. Brand means nothing for these, unless you care for packaging design.

This Xerox paper is sold in single reams of 800 sheets, you don't have to buy a case of 10 reams. Awesome quality, smooth, thick, bright white, resume quality paper. When it's on sale with a couple bucks off, it's less than 10c per sheet.

Saw in the Costco thread - Georgia-Pacific case of 5000 sheets (10 reams) for $31 - 20 lbs, 92 bright -> 6.2c/sheet for standard printing paper but you need to buy a whole case.

I think you meant $10 for 2 packs of 500. That's 10 cents a sheet.

We use the hammermill stuff, and it's been fine for what we need. 20 lb is the standard weight, seems heavy and thick enough, no bleed when printing... for everyday stuff, like kids work, craft stuff, receipts, etc. it's fine. But yeah, if I can get the XEROX stuff for cheaper and better weight, I'd give it a go. My wife is a teacher, prints out a ton of stuff for school, project, work for the kids, etc. and even so, we hardly go through reems of paper like I thought we would. Now, the ink we go through, that's a different story...
