Nobody on PC is going to use the HDMI port anyway.
There are plenty of bigger problems with this at $4000 than that.

I guess the only real benefit of this is that there is no potential for burn-in with a LED gaming display.

That would be the only thing that keeps me up at night if I was gaming on an OLED tv

At this price point, you can get a 77” CX model with just as good specs and also get 4x HDMI 2.1 to support PS5, Xbox Series and a Gaming PC. It also supports GSYNC and likely a much nicer screen thanks to OLED’s next level quality.

Or get a 65” CX and save some money. I don’t see how going from 120hz to 144hz is worth 1500$ more.

Everyone on PC would use HDMI2.1 if they had that option available. It's way better than displayport 1.4

People who can easily afford this ‘monitor’ will by it at MSRP, there is no need to get this with a deal.

Lol man tacking on the word gaming and making it 144hz on this tv justifies a 2k price bump vs lg oleds? That’s a lot of premium for 24extra hertz

As someone who uses a 48" CX OLED as gaming monitor, let me confirm that 48 is already a bit of a stretch for a desktop monitor.

65 is just plain stupid.

55" is optimal if you're over 6' tall.

LG OLED48CXPUB (48") seems more optimal IMO.

Most people seem to like it because it's a custom size.

The 55" is cheaper and more expansive without being completely ridiculous in size.

I swear by 55".

I don't get it; why not purchasing a normal TV at that point? Only for G-Sync?

Yeah, I don’t get this at all unless you absolutely have to have DisplayPort input and the extra 24Hz. Maybe 2 years ago it was more appealing with the lack of HDMI 2.1 graphics cards on the market. I’d also been leery of HP because I’ve had nothing but bad luck with their products over the past 15 years.

I run a 48” CX on my desktop and it’s amazing. I’m a teacher and it’s been a godsend for remote learning.

IMO this HP should be no more than $2000 today.
