Nearly all businesses are reporting limited or no stock on thermometers due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shipping is free if purchase is over $100. Shipped by DHL and they indicate 3-5 days.
No idea what the shipping charge is for under $100 purchase. Thumbs down if you wish.

i had these kinds, never reported correctly. Even the forehead-touch ones were not accurate. Bought to try out on my children when they were having fevers.
They were having bad fever, and these thermometers report 35-36 degrees C

For food or other electrical measuring, ya, maybe. BUT 1-2 degrees off on a human can be devastating.

Agree, don't get this stuff. Fun to measure your car engine but not for medical purposes.

Get an ear or forhead thermometer.

I was getting false readings with a forehead IR sensor and I was using a expensive FLIR camera. Went to test the ear thermometer and it was showing normal readings for the baby.

Sometimes the forehead temp is higher/lower than usual due to the body regulating heat (the scenario above it was showing higher but ear was showing normal)

I bought this one from China a couple years ago for $7USD. This is massive price gauging. Also, the thing failed almost instantly. You can still get infrared tstats from canadian tire for $60 (also gauging as it's often on sale for $20). I have one of these for over 10 years no problems. Even amazon is only gauging for about $70. So much for them cracking down on that.
Anyhow, no real reason for this unless you're a health professional screening people. At home you're better to use a mouth thermometer which everyone should already have.
The main problem with the infrared type is how inaccurate they are, even if they're quality since they only measure skin temp.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Sincere apologies all. I did not check into the company when I saw the availability. Now doing some digging (deligence) and wondering if the company is a scam. Seems they sprang up only days ago and my be to gouge people wishing to buy medical supplies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
I can remove this post. Or leave it up as awareness to others...
