Huawei P30 Lite Photo Gallery Corruption

So, I got a new P30 Lite from the Zoomer promotion.

Today I realized that some of my photos in the photo gallery cannot be opened anymore. I can see the photo icons, but when I click to open them, I get a blank grey box.

Anyone else has this problem? I'm NOT using an SD card by the way. All photos are in the internal memory.
