If you have signed up before you will need to use a new email.
US Paypal:
One way to get a confirmed/verified address with a US Paypal account is to sign up for a prepaid mastercard here in Canada. I like the BMO Travel prepaid card. Once you get your card, call BMO and have the billing address changed to a US address. Changing the address online will not do anything. There is no physical statement to mail and it's prepaid so it doesn't matter if you leave it with a US billing address for the life of the card -- three years at the moment (seems like Flaherty wants to end expiration dates on prepaid credit cards though). Once that is done, you can open a US paypal account easily, link the card, and put that credit card into confirmed/verified status.

Edit:
Just to test the waters, I signed up successfully with my US Paypal account but it did mention I had to be in the US to watch the shows (this is where a US VPN will come in handy). I got the following email:

I like how our great minds think alike Mikka. ;) But there's paypal though it may require a US Paypal account. Probably have to read the fine print and remind ourselves when we have to cancel and sign up with new email addresses.

I only have 300 GB/month but I'm sure many of you have unlimited downloads. Might as well put it to good use.

I noticed on my Apple TV, if I switch my location or iTunes store to USA (under setting) the Hulu icon then appears in the main list of icons. I wonder if I still need UnblockUS or something similar.

I may give it a try and report back.

Does it require a US Billing address? I can cancel before the 6 months are done and will not get charged, correct?

That's too bad. I have always wanted to try Hulu. I have a US credit card but I've changed my billing address to Canada since I moved here. Probably won't work for me neither.

I don't think you can. I signed up for US Paypal just to be able to order from newegg.com in February. You won't regret signing up for a prepaid card like I did. I went with BMO, not sure if other issuers will make it easy to switch to US billing address.

I left the US billing address on the BMO card. This way, I can use my US paypal or "US" credit card to shop on US websites.

Not a big fan of hulu to be honest, decent for some shows, hate the commercials, terrible for movies. I was disappointed with my trial and canceled within the week. But that's just my opinion.

Yes, Hulu plus has commercials, plus if you try to skip them ( you can see where they are on the progress bar) they will play as soon as you stop fast forwarding. There is one or two commercials at the start of the show and if i remember correctly 3 commercial breaks during a 30 min show. Plus, the movies are completely crap. They do have newer shows but some shows are missing episodes of previous seasons if you plan on watching them all, i believe this was the case with battlestar galactic (the new series, not the old one), i wanted to start watching it but season one was missing episode 1 and 2....i was let down.
