Looks like Humble has a Capcom sale for the next week. Noticed RE2 Remake is on sale for $24.74 or $29.24 for the Deluxe. Cheaper than CD Keys for Deluxe (they are slightly cheaper for reg. version but Humble is better retailer); cheapest I recall seeing it too. Slightly cheaper than the cheapest it has been on Steam itself looks like, which was $26.39 or $29.69 for Deluxe.

Edit: my prices were slightly off. Turns out you only get these prices if you are subscribed to Humble Monthly. My apologies. The non-subscriber prices are:
$27.49 - Standard
$32.49 - Deluxe

Also Fanatical has it instead now:
$24.57 - Standard
$30.71 - Deluxe

Std. version in thread listing, deluxe version here:

Also lots of other Capcom on sale (how good the prices are varies):

I loved these games. Hopefully the remake brings back that nostalgia

yeah they started charging tax recently so now their prices are always garbage compared to other store fronts. Get the game here for $24.57 flat.

I'm subscribed the Humble choice and am able to gift 1 person my discount link. Pm if interested. $21.99 for base, $25.99 for deluxe (plus 5% tax).

"GIVE UP TO 20% OFF, Share your Humble Store discount with a friend. Just give them your gift discount link and they'll enjoy up to 20% off for 30 days. One giftee per month."

But yeah, without my discount, I see $27.49 for the base, and $32.49 for the deluxe. (I'm in Ontario).

Oh okay you know what I see why you guys are seeing the higher prices. If I'm logged into my Humble account I see a 55% discount. If I log out, it drops to 50%. However for you, ashven, I'm not sure how you don't see the 55% as you are subscribed as well--weird. Did you make sure to log in when you looked at the links?

It oddly says you save "$6.50" when you're subscribed (on Deluxe) but I think that's in reference to the reg. price as you actually save $3.80 once you log in.

Hmm well it's only a difference of a few bucks and there's also $2-3 going to charity with Humble. But you're right sucks with the tax. However I believe this must be the doing of the Canadian government, TBH. In recent months we've seen:
-Amazon charging tax on 3rd party sellers "fulfilled by Amazon"
-Rock Auto charging tax on the shipping
-Now online stores starting to charge tax on software purchases

This may just be the beginning of this as gov't starts catching on and cracking down  We couldn't expect "the taxman" to not catch on to this forever. In fact, I'm surprised they didn't catch on before, knowing Canada.

Gears of War is a cover based shooter. You pretty much have to shoot from behind the cover of those waist high walls most of the game
but you have plenty of ammo and move slowly.

RE2 Remake is survival horror where you have to mind your aim accuracy and reserve your bullets for when you need them.

Yes, if you aren't ever strapped for Ammo/Life in an RE game. You're playing it wrong :)
Coop really makes these games shine IMO. Played through RE5 with a friend and it was awesome. We were always low ammo lol

I'll wait for this one to be <10$ or part of a massive RE bundle. I've heard great things!
