There are 2 more AR-15 lower receivers available in case you are looking for one at <$150. Everywhere else seems to be sold out or selling for >$200

Shipping from IRunGuns' Canadian Store is around ~$20 CAD for a single receiver. They seem to only charge GST since they are based in Alberta. Final total should be around ~$143 CAD after taxes and shipping

Depends on how the buyback will work. My guess is probably something similar to the gun buyback programs done in a few US states. So maybe some low ball offer of like $200 to 300 per firearm regardless of it's market value.

I guess some folks are probably buying up all the cheap receivers now and then resell them to the government for some extra cash.

They're now prohibited. No buyback right now, but that might come in the future.
