You can add code ibmepp for another $60 off.

A bunch of us picked it up for $916 last week after the coupon (before taxes), this is warm at best.

That was a price error and they called everyone and cancelled their orders, hence why this is back in stock.

Yours went through?

It wasn't a price error. They called and verified the order. A good number of us have shipping numbers. The price bump was probably triggered due to the sudden demand from RFD.

Make sure you try the keyboard in store before you buy this. The keyboard is nearly not usable IMO, very little distance and feedback.

I actually prefer it after a few months of daily use. The large keys and short distance actually allow me to type faster for some reason. I felt the exact same when I first bought it, especially when I have a mechanical clicky keyboard at home.

The price for brand new from Edu store is a little bit north of 1400$, which make this deal a non-deal. 916$ a week ago was a deal.

Yes it's weird but true. I was 1 click away from buying a 15-inch Retina for 1400$ with 15 months of warranty, but I chicken-ed out.

And I am still beating myself up for that

Unlikely, if anything, they will probably get announced in June. I don't think Apple will release it without some hyped up coverage and nothing is planned in April
