More offers from IBM
EDIT - prices in USD....sorry! Can someone delete?

For anyone that missed out last time with the friends and family deal...It seems like this deal is even better. Some are refurb and others are open box so the open box tested ones are a pretty good deal. All come with 15 month warranty and a 8GB USB.

Apple MacBook 12" (4FIY) Released early 2015 (camera) - $874
Apple MacBook Pro (0O8N) - $807.20
Apple MacBook Pro (0OHY) Relased Mid 2012 - $1000
Apple MacBook Pro 13" (MGX72LLA) Slightly blemished - $1023
Apple MacBook Pro (MGXA2LLA) Mid 2014 - $1488

Those prices though...... I think it's amazing what Windows can do with 2gb RAM now, I feel like if anyone is in the right prestige to purchase a macbook they would not drop 750+ on a refurbished 4 year old model

Those are terrible prices if that's in USD. I paid a little over $1300 for my new MGX82LL/A in June 2015.

Pretty sure prices are in Canadian....says Canada at the top right corner.

The 2015 13" is a pretty good deal considering the condition is pretty much new.

I paid taxes included $1030 a few weeks back.

Here's the old thread

The price is alright I guess. But I grabbed a 13" MacBook Pro Retina 2015 model with warranty until September 2016 for $1150 no tax off Kijiji. If you are patient you can find some sweet deals on Kijiji.

Good deal but the only issue I have with that is someone had their filthy Dorito's stained fingers all over your keyboard. You will be inhaling another mans Dorito dust for the next few years.

When Apple or IBM refurbishes a Macbook, anything that is not 100% like new gets replaced, including the keyboard. There are no cosmetic blemishes on a refurbished Apple product.

Owning a Macbook is "prestige" now?? News to me...

Apple refurbs are great. I didn't think that was the case for IBM refurbs though.

I thought I read somewhere that IBM refurbs often had significant blemishes. Or is that off-lease IBM stuff?

But yeah it's moot for most of us anyway, considering its US only. And if US$, then not so great either.

...prestige...is if you can buy the HP Spectre before it is released. http://www.engadget.com/2016/04/05/hp-spectre-13-3/
...and getting HP and Harry Winston to custom build it with platinum and diamond ascent, and have a company to grow you a piece of sapphire display...
...then hire someone to use it so you don't even type a single keystroke.
...all this without you paying a dime... and that HP begs you to stand in front of it for a photo..
