Icelandair ?

Hi !
Icelandair have good price and allws a 1 to 5 nights layover in Reikjavik. Anyone have fly with them ?

Anyone have stayed 3-5 nights in Reikjavik is there plenty to do ?

Is a 2 hours layover on return is enough to catch a flight ? How big is the airport ?

Thanks !

I flew with them from Reykjavik to Toronto. It was fine, no issues. Their fleet is almost entirely narrowbody if that's an issue. KEF is a medium sized airport. Pre-COVID, it was quite busy due to all the tourism but I don't know what it's like now.

I'd call it more of a small airport with very easy transfers as it is also compact.

3-5 nights would be a lot in just the city but lots of spectacular natural sights on the island that could fill your time.

Done a few trips in business to EU because they're 1400 and good earners for Alaska Miles which I then use to fly first class to Asia. The service is actually much more pleasant than one would expect from them..they really try hard. A couple nights would suffice though I've done a short under 2 hour layover with no problems.

Cool experience, I would go for it!

If they sell the layover you're fine. If it's a "boutique" like Iceland Air you're ok. You only read shitty reviews because who comes home thinking let's post a glorious one.
