Baratza seems to be having a sale on the Virtuoso that some resellers have picked up on as well.

So far, the other authorized resellers that also seem to be honouring the lower price are:
This is probably the lowest I've seen this grinder in the last two years! Grab it while it lasts :)

I just found the other thread right now! At least this gives people another shot at buying it since the Amazon is back to the original price. It's definitely an amazing grinder!

Good Morning,

These don't go on sale much because Baratza sets a minimum pricing. Likely on sale because the Virtuoso PLUS is coming out.

Amazon Canada and others ~$300+

iDrinkCoffee $248 + tax
-- They won't give you the 10th anniversary discount they have going on

You can go in person (Milton Ont) or order online

Enjoy!

Good vendor from Milton. I've been ordering from them for a decade. I bought my encore from them like 8 years ago and still works like new. Greatest prices on coffee you will see from any local roaster.

Is this grinder going to be okay for Espresso? I'm looking to grab an espresso machine at some point but want to make sure I have a good grinder first. Should I look elsewhere?

Depends how into coffee you are, most coffee people recommend the baratza vario, in the end the minimum for a home setup they recommend is usually a $1000 machine and a $500 grinder.
