They've always had that, at least when I ordered a month ago and 3-4 months before that.

Last month when i was shopping on the site the free shipping was not $26.54
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people

Then you ordered something that Landmark Global couldn't ship.

Now is there anything actually on sale worth getting in the BCAA/Protein bar sections.

Ive ordered a few things from the past couple months and it's been free shipping after that amount this whole time. Fun fact for those shopping, since duties is free under 40,its best to optimize your items to be between 26 and 40 dollars to get free shipping and not worry about duties! Happy shopping!

Yea, I tried to order some vitamin D-3.

Not allowed to be shipped by landmark.

No idea why.

Edit: talked to customer service, and landmark has a restricted items list. No idea why.

I order a lot from Vitacost. They use Landmark. Never had this issue and I’ve ordered D-3 numerous times. Are you sure it’s not a border restriction? For example, you will never be able to get D-3 with 5000 IU.

The number probably fluctuates with the exchange rate. That’s why it’s an oddball number.

I have never ordered from there before. Are they any good?

I usually just buy from Amazon but it looks like these guys have more brands.

I’ve ordered twice in the last 3 weeks. Both times were free shipping and no duties. Items arrived in 4 business days to the GTA, way earlier than their estimates.

Way better than Amazon in terms of price and variety yeah, particularly for niche supplements.
Lately free shipping is quite fast (~1 week), but it used to be very slow.

I was also ordering Vitamin D3 so that was likely the issue.

Duty doesn’t start until $150, however after $40 you owe tax (gst 5%). The main issue was that if customs has to check your package and apply the appropriate tax or duty then you also get dinged a brokerage fee (usually $10 extra). However, because Landmark charges the taxes up front you never have to get caught up in customs and pay the brokerage fee.
On the Koodo plan bandwagon 😉

Now that iHerb has Landmark as well (Free shipping with a low threshold), you may want to look at ordering from them instead of Vitacost sometimes. Vitacost’s prices are typically a bit better (not always) however with iHerb you can place your order and be charged in CAD so you don’t have to pay the credit card foreign exchange fee markup (usually 2.5% unless you have a no foreign exchange fee credit card), plus you can avoid the $9.99 shipping fee from Vitacost.

I used to shop solely Vitacost, but now for most of my orders it works out cheaper with iHerb. iHerb is also a better run company: they list the expiry dates for products and seem to always get the order fulfilled (multiple times Vitacost has sent me an order with missing items and say they were out of stock, which is a pain).

They are one of the few places you can get 100% pure oregano oil from the Now brand
