Yeah the sofa bed has terrible reviews. I went for the frieheten regular (not the corner one) which has much better reviews and is 100$ cheaper.
It's very hard (lol some Ikea comments said 'as hard as a german nanny') but gets very soft when you sit on a same specific spot after a few days.
Worried on overall durability... We will see!

50$ is not bad, but seeing there is a limit on first few customers + do you get a coupon or you need to rush to the cashiers' ... Also, Ikea is always so full, i'd rather pay more and go when it's quieter.
All black friday purchases will be made online. I dont want to become a BF statistic :D

Hmm ... I bought the Mausund latex mattress at IKEA last week for $700 plus tax. Wondering now whether IKEA has some sort of price guarantee...

Is this spend $200+ and get $50 off the purchase made or spend $200+ and get $50 off for a future purchase?

I lined up last year at the North York location and the $50 voucher was handed out as you walked in. And it's one per person so both my wife and I got one. I actually found it quieter than a regular weekend. They also had doorcrashers that weren't advertised. We got a sofa bed that was originally $230ish for $50.
