[IKEA] HEMMA Cord set with switch, black/white 15 ' 5 " (4.7 m) - $4.99

It's an E26 socket ( the typical one in the house) and comes with a 2-prong plug.

The end that is not shown does it have a 120V plug or is it an electrical box connection?
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburders eat people

You're 100% correct that the connection method is not described nor shown anywhere on the webpage. However given that it has a switch, I'd say it's almost a certainty that it has a standard plug.

Not necessarily, being of Swedish/European design, it can be either as some have on wire switches as its simply a plug in the ceiling.
That said 120V two prong plug would be nice and what i am looking for.

Except that one doesn't have the in-line switch. Likely the same but still not confirmed.

The reviews on the site hint that it is a plugged version, given the mention of the wording "plug" used. That being said, not a certainty based on this :)

Thats good. There are a few versions with the same model name.
Its silly that Ikea won't post a full pic.

Agreed, they had an Assembly PDF in there as well which would probably tells us... but the link is broken.

There is also the Strala corded light as well... which we can definitely see is a normal plug in the pictures. Its $1 more expensive, E14 bulb, and 0.7M shorter however

I find that cloth weaving holds dirt, so if the sale one has the regular plug that is my preferred option.
