Slap 2 together and a few 2x6 and you've got a picnic table!

I guess the discount reflects social distancing. This bench now seats a maximum of 1 person. Face With Tears Of Joy

Not bad for $42. Materials would probably cost about that much at HD/Lowes. Assuming its all sanded and smooth, will save some time and effort.

That doesn't look like pressure treated wood. If it's not, it will rot quickly.

Looks super uncomfortable and it looks like bare wood so you need to stain yourself.

What was the lineup situation at the Queensway location? Was thinking of going this weekend.

The MSRP is a complete and utter joke.

And to be frank, $42 is no deal. Go online for a plan, get your stuff from Home Depot and you can have the same thing for half that.

Back on topic.

You guys are hysterical. Do you think everyone is a DIY'er or a carpenter? $42 for a cheap bench is CHEAP. How much do you think 2x4's are? The quality is likely better than a regular 2x4 and the pieces are probably sanded down at least. Those saying you can make something better need to get some perspective.

Every single deal thread there are people who don't realize they're living in la la land. Go tell my wife to "create" a wood bench. Let's see how far that's going to go. lol. You guys never cease to entertain me.

But it comes with the hardware and pictorial. So... totally worth it.

OK WHAT I WANT TO KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THEM IN STOCK... Im handy but getting the materials /cut/installation would take me maybe a whole day or half a day which includes lining up for materials.

Are ikea stores even open? Last time I checked, it was just curbside pickup with $5 handling fee

I mean I guess it would fix your posture. I can't imagine any scenario I'd want this at home. Maybe for a 10 min sit down at a park..
Uh, yeah, I'd like to speak to a Mr. Tabooger, first name Ollie.

I agree jellytime, some RFDers can't stop themselves on commenting on how much cheaper it is to DIY - from car maintenance, computer build, furniture. I'll only do it myself if it gives me some pleasure - odd woodworking project, some garden stuff and tinkering with my bike/MC. Otherwise, the time/pleasure equation suggests I buy premade.

Older I get, I tend to buy locally or used, luxury of having more time and money. I certainly I don't judge other people choosing to buy manufactured items. When I was student/starting out, IKEA was a godsend. Not many corporations (or people for that matter) who don't make mistakes/ethical breaches - each to their own I suppose.
