[IKEA] IKEA LADDA AA/AAA $3.99/4pack rechargeable batteries KVARTS chargers regular batteries 50% off !!!NEW LADDA at 5$/pack

Please delete if this is a repost, searched the forum but didn't see any.

I was trying to buy some rechargeable batteries and found those on sale, not an expert on those, seems like a good price coming off $1/per battery.

LADDA Rechargeable batteryHR6 AA 1.2V $3.99/4pack down from $9.99

LADDA Rechargeable batteryHR03 AAA 1.2V $3.99/4pack down from $8.99

"Went to Ikea Ottawa yesterday, no more old stock, only the new ones
AAA 750 $4.99
AA 1900 $4.99 (credit to @manoflegend12 )
AA 2350 $8.99
All the new ones (grey color) are still Made in Japan"

Some RFDers start to see new LADDAs in their local IKEA for 5$ per pack with less capacity but more cycles.
"AA has same packaging but 1900 only, not 2450." Also made in Japan

*Still made in Japan thanks to @defender02 information who picked up some last week.

*The Kvarts charger is also 50% off (Credit to: @Delete99 ):

Why is IKEA charging a service fee for Click & Collect orders?

While going to a store to purchase your items is always the most cost effective way to shop with IKEA, the Click & Collect service provides another convenient option for customers. The fee covers the picking service for the order. There is no limit to the size or value of a Click & Collect order. Please note the service fee is non-refundable.

Shipping not available for my location. Click and collect is $5 on multiple locations in ON and QC. I'm picking them up in North York location.

Thank you OP.
Just purchased some AAAs last week for $8.99, maybe I should go get a price adjustment.

Maybe. I found an old RFD thread that titled LADDA discontinued. More reading from RFD suggested these are great rechargeable batteries at least on par with Enloop and AmazonBasics.

I read or watched a video on these a while back that said they are no longer made in Japan, and the new once are not nearly as good as they used to be.

I haven't done many curbside pickups during the Ontario lockdown. Are there many retailers that charge a curbside pickup fee like Ikea does during lockdown?

For a time, I think they did switch to non-Japanese made battery, but the new ones I bought in the past year have all been made in Japan. I don't know when they made the switch back, or perhaps there is both Japanese-made and non-Japanese-made batteries in their inventory.

Thanks for sharing.

I have the previous Gen Rechargeable Batteries and they've been working well. Bought a bunch of the AA & AAA when it was on clearance.

Ugh, bought a few sets but they don't have it available for delivery and I'm busy during the only available times at my nearby store. Is there any way to push out your pickup time?

Ordered a bunch for store pickup in Toronto. Ridiculous that I'm paying $5 to pickup from store, but what can you do.

Not sure what postal code you are at, but it would not deliver to multiple postal codes in Toronto, for me.
