Shipping on thier stuff kills this deal. WAs going to order a table. The shipping to Ottawa was $70... I'd still be out $25-30, with the discount. Sucks that instore doesn't apply

Not hot as OP said but I think it was worthwhile to call out. It's not hot because 15% over $450 on Boxing Day. However, this time it's $250.

By the way, IKEA site shows "10% back in gift cards on orders over $250" and I wonder does it apply for online orders with in-store pick-ups

Thanks for the heads up and Happy New Year

There really is no point in sub-forums any more.

What is true is it’s not worth posting any deals. Clearly not hot was meant to point out this is not a great offer, but for some people, with large outlays, it could work.

There’s always criticism, some one with “smart” one liners, and generally blowback.

Even hot deals get at least five downvotes.

I think they started shipping from in stores now so shipping is really cheap now.

Nope, delivery only. Might play around with it and get some smaller items for cheaper delivery (a tabletop is only like $20 delivery for me at least) and then use the gift card to purchase the rest of the things I need in store.

Their terrible stock system will ruin this again.

E. G. It shoes in stock but does not let you check out because of some stupid no nearby warehouse.
