Ikea xmas tree: what is going on there?

Hi,
Hope someone knows what is going with the Ikea's xmas tree this year, as their yard is 99.9% empty, just few (really few trees ) there!
We were buying from them as long as I remember, no trees there make me sad.

Any alternatives with similar prices?

Thanks in advance...R

Maybe you're too late? Calgary got them on the 27th according to the calendar. Probably picked over

Home Depot, Lowes... They are both running deals where you get a $25 gift card when you purchase a tree.

Really? Almost all of the grocery/reno stores in the GTA sell them for about $40. I got mine from Metro this year, but I see them at crappy tire and RCS as well. Even Whole Foods is selling them.

If you notice the RFD Locator for @jackrabbit000 he’s from Alberta
The majority of Christmas Trees in North America come from the East
(In Canada = Nova Scotia, Quebec & Eastern Ontario)

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christm ... _in_Canada

Consequently, we in the East see far more fresh trees on sale here where the “shipping in” is not as big an issue

Weird, would have thought tree farming would do well in BC... Business Opportunity!!

Ok, found something at Home Depot:
1. https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/custom ... cribe.html $5.00 when spending $50.00 just to sign in for receiving their adds

2. $25.00 when spending $100.00 after Dec.19, to Jan. 15 2019
pg 6 in the flyer: https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/value- ... flyer.html

So what? It's worth it to buy trees humanely.

You sound like one of those people who are going to try to save a few bucks by buying a tree from a "tree farm", where the trees are stuck together in close quarters, outside in the freezing cold.

You disgust me.

Oh no, that’s where we were planning on going tomorrow. Did they say anything about getting more trees in anytime soon? I guess I can call them?
