I'm confused about a Freedom Mobile deal

My wife was at Real Canadian SuperStore in Langley BC and saw a deal advertised with Freedom Mobile - $25/month - unlimited Canada wide calling, unlimited Canada & US text and unlimited data.

This seems so much cheaper than normal, I don't get what the hitch might be -- kind of along the lines of if it is too good to be true it probably is.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

I've attached a picture of the deal below.

Looks to me like there's 2 offers. The one on the right is Freedom, the one on the left is a mystery provider.

The deals looks like a BYOP plan for $25/month on the Freedom network.

Yes, it is a BYOP deal -- that said, isn't $25/month for unlimited text, calling and data really unusual? Is there something wrong with the Freedom network?

I think the $25/month would be reasonable for unlimited tax and text. Including unlimited data in the $25/month price seems unlikely as there must be a catch.

this probably is their Home 500mb plan for $25

500MB data
Unlimited Canada-wide talk
Unlimited text to Canada and the U.S.

The unlimited data is probably throttled after you have used the 500mb of full speed data. I believe there are no overage fees with freedom however you get throttled to very slow speeds until your next billing cycle and you get another 500mb again.

Interesting how they conveniently left out the data speed. Most likely it will be restricted to 3G speed, and once it hit a preset amount of data, they will throttle the speed down, and still can claim to be unlimited of course.

The data should be freedoms full speed, depending on your device it should be LTE if you have the compatible band
