Importance of LTE Band2 (1900) for Rogers?

With primary use being in the GTA and on Rogers, how important is LTE Band 2? For example if I buy a phone that supports every other band Rogers states they use, but doesn't have LTE Band 2/1900, will it be a big deal?

You can check the cell tower map here: http://ertyu.org/steven_nikkel/cancellsites.html and see what Rogers frequencies are in the areas you're interested in.

Edit: I was wrong - it's 2G that uses bandwidth in the khz range (I forgot that Rogers still has a working 2G network, I haven't been with them for 3-4 years now), 3G and LTE are both in the MHz range. 3G is in multiples of 5 MHz, LTE is usually 10 or 20 MHz.

Has Rogers refarmed any band 2 spectrum for LTE? Wikipedia, certainly, doesn't think they have...
