Income tax deadlines.

If I am self employed, is it correct that I do not have to file my taxes until June 15? Does this apply to my wife as well even if she is employed by a company that is not affiliated with me in any way?

Are payments due that date as well or just the actual filing?

Any taxes due must still be paid by April 30. Filing due date is June 15.

Your wife's return can be filed at the same time as yours, but she would need to pay by April 30 as well.

If you have a rough idea of how much tax you owe, just pay CRA, this will avoid penalty and interest charges. If you overpay, CRA will refund you later when you file.
