The Indian Detective - Canadian TV series starring...Russell Peters -Premiere is Nov 23rd on CTV

The series will star Peters as a Toronto cop who unexpectedly finds himself investigating a murder in his parents’ Indian homeland, and will begin shooting this fall in South Africa, Canada and India.

THE INDIAN DETECTIVE, debuts Thursday, Nov. 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO, as announced by Russell Peters

Hmmm he moved to LA to break into tv and movies. I guess that didn't work out? Best of luck to him. We will give the show a chance.

CTV along with producing partners Big Light Productions and Blue Ice Pictures announced today that production has wrapped on THE INDIAN DETECTIVE, following international production in Cape Town, South Africa and Mumbai, India earlier this year. The four-part, one-hour, comedic drama, starring international comedy sensation Russell Peters in his first scripted TV series, is set to premiere as part of CTV’s 2017/18 schedule.

Not sure about TVs and movies but dood has made a mint with his standup comedy shows...don't think his wallet is hurtin' that's fo sho!!

Securing a coveted Thursday night timeslot immediately following the two biggest shows on television, THE BIG BANG THEORY (8 p.m.) and YOUNG SHELDON (8:30 p.m.), the four-part, one-hour, comedy-drama stars the global comedy sensation in his first starring scripted role for television, and was filmed on location in Cape Town, Toronto and Mumbai last spring.

I see Shatner in 1 of the pics. Looking forward to this, nice to see Canadian shows filming globally.
