Indian/Pakistani Places in Scarborough/Markham/Durham region that make Indian Roti meals

I know many West Indian places make this, but I can't seem to find something like this for Indian/Pakistani. The only place I have tried is a chain called Butter Chicken Roti that makes different curry dishes wrapped in a roti, but are there others that also do this?

Thanks

Thats because this specifically a west indian/Caribbean thing.

People from India/Pakistan don’t really make roti sandwiches/wraps like this.

Butter chicken roti is a fusion place not representAtive of a specific regional type of food… they are inspired by West Indian Caribbean style roti.

Yes, I am aware of this as I am East Indian. I love the West Indian roti places but they make the roti different than how East Indians do.

Being Canadianized, I like the concept of an East Indian Burrito and wanted to know who else makes things like this. I am one of the few people who probably prefers Rotis vs. Naan and this combo of curry wrapped in a fresh roti is very appealing to me.

Markham
For Roti I go to Cravins on Tues. lunch special.

If I'm around Scarborough, I used to have roti at Roti Hut on Pitfield [McCowan and Sheppard].

For something different, kindof like Roti is KothuRoti....chopped roti like noodles. I go to Martins Bakery on Markham Rd for that.

Lol oops. Sorry to mansplain you.
I never seen any Indian/Pakistani places do it like that…
Closes i remember was Lahore tikka house that wraps a kebab in a naan with sauce and salad.

Maybe custom order?
“Excuse me sir can you wrap a paratha with rogan josh and channa?”

But do they make them big enough to wrap like that?

The "My Roti Place" / "My Dosa Place" chain might be what you are looking for.

Indian style curries, both veggie and non-veggie, wrapped in a roti. But they are too large and messy to be handheld, have to eat with a fork/spoon and knife.

Also not sure if any locations on that side of the city. All the ones I have been to are around Downtown or in Peel.

Indeed. I've only seen the old Ghandi's Roti shop, now Roti Mahal, in Toronto do the Caribbean style wrap.

Indian roti house. 2 locations downtown.

This is a great article on the history of this unique Toronto dish and mentions a few more places but I think mostly are downtown.

In Scarborough there’s Leela’s Roti which is a West Indian place but they also make a butter chicken roti.
