What's the best way to lower indoor co2 levels besides opening the windows?

Indoor plants and HRV / ERV ventilation equipment can lower CO2 levels.

Ended up getting a HRV , fantech.

CO2 levels dropped dramatically. Was around 1100-1500 depending on which area of the house prior to HRV, now its in the 500s.. I have a IQAIR air visual pro for readings.

That is a pretty low reading. My CO2 level without an HRV alternates between 600-1100 without opening windows so I guess my house is on the leaky side.

Does your CO2 level drop overnight? Mine is generally lower when the occupants are asleep, even in the bedrooms. Highest during winter months is about 850, summer months then get to about 1100.

Note: Only during the day when the plants are photosynthesizing CO2 + H2O = CH2O + O2. At night/in darkness, they respirate like we do - consuming oxygen and putting out CO2. Of course, one could run a sun lamp so they plants keep producing oxygen.
Cream rises to the top. So does scum.
