Also received the empty box yesterday. Didn't know what it was for, and almost threw it out.
Is anyone else including any paperwork with their return? I threw my original Best Buy receipt in there just in case, but didn't get any documentation for the recall itself.

registered on April 21.. still no box.. called on June 1st, said they would sent an email to update as a shipping lable was created on April 27 but not shipped..
called again today as I haven't receive anything and still the same answer..

However, it is now boxed up and ready to be dropped off at UPS, in it's original packaging, packed into the return box.

Still haven't received mine despite calling them on their toll free line June 6th to complain that I registered on April 21st and hadn't received anything yet.
Hoping I receive it soon since others are getting their return boxes finally.

I'm seeing people are cleaning the unit before sending it back, is that specified anywhere? Don't seem to make sense when they're gonna dispose/recycle it in the end.

Called again on Monday to see what was going on and surprise suddenly shipping label has ben created and the box will arrive tomorrow according to the latest tracking.... so apparently bad estimate by UPS. Actually arriving Monday. Registered on April 21st, received the box today. The air fryer was cleaned in April, but is now covered in dust and that's how we boxed it up. 2 months later, we are ready to send it. Probably another 8 weeks before we get the gift card?

May 24th - dropped the air fryer at UPS
June 18 - air fryer received and processed (confirmed by call center)
June 24th - Strangely, just received another return box today. The address is STERICYCLE INC, 25 IRONSIDE CRES, Scarborough.
I haven't gotten the BB gift card.

I received my return box on June 10th. I think you were the first to receive the return box on May 20th. No gift card for me yet either.
