Yeah I bought this last time it was on sale and the delivery company will not put it inside like they are supposed to, and will drop and smash the crate it's shipped in.

The thing weighs 400lbs and they didn't even have a pump truck to move it around, they had to manhandle it on a single furniture dolly, with predictable results.

Anyway, the set is fine. Good deal at this price I think.

This is a VERY good deal!
I went with a set of bumper plates, took me a while during the pandemic but I couldn't be happier. I don't really drop the bar, but working out at home, every bit of sound deadening helps.

Yikes i thought $1 per LB was already ridiculously overpriced. I guess this pandemic has really made us numb to the cost of stuff vs what its really worth to make. Might just buy a bag of cement and google the best home made set ups for weights. Nothing special in the fabrication or manufacturers process, this stuff is literally dead weight.....Only thing i can think of is transportation cost/gas prices to ship high amounts of weight.

Steel prices are up, supply chain issues, fuel prices are up. It used to cost $5000 to ship a container from China, was as high as $20k or more at the height of the pandemic. I 've been told it's come back down to $14k, if your stuff doesn't sit in port for months before being put onto a boat.

$1/lb is going to be very hard to find going forward

Imo, the rack is still overpriced, as you can find rack as good for far less. However, the one thing good about inspire is their warranty and customer service

My apologies you are correct, if you're looking for it to be delivered to your home then I don't have anything currently better. Just saying there are 3x3 racks cheaper if willing to pick up which will come with some key things that are missing on this rack. For example, weight storage pins, better hole spacing and also not sure if the inspire one has add-ons like a lat pull and low row.

Wow. Give this man an award. I had my popcorn ready all day waiting for some witty comeback or snide remark without anything to back it up but this has got to be one of the most mature comment I've seen on the internet in a long time. it was delivered in a wooden box by Day and ross, the box was wide enough to have the barbell fit.
they used a lift to move the box form truck to my garage.
