Insurance quote (car) - Where to go or site?

Hello everyone!

I am looking to get car insurance quotes and where the best website or place to call around?

I had a car before and sold it. It's been 6 months I was without a car and insurance. Now getting back into getting a new car within the next month or 2.

I know websites are not exact numbers but just shopping around to see what the insurance are like for the 2 - 3 cars I have in mind.

I prefer not to go to each website of each company and manually enter my info. I am guessing a broker? that could find me quotes?

thank you

You would have to. Brokers may not have the lowest rate.

These websites can get you quote from multiple companies:
https://www.ratehub.ca/
https://www.lowestrates.ca/
https://rates.ca/

And there are certain companies which may not show up in above website and uses their own broker such as TD.
Before you speak: THINK
T = is it True?
H = is it Helpful?
I = is it Inspiring?
N = is it Necessary?
K = is it Kind?

Regardless of which insurance site you use, you always need to follow up with the Broker :)

I used to go to kanetix just for quotes to compare...

Having said and looked at Kanetix, I still almost always got a cheaper rate with my group insurance rate as a CFA Charterholder in Toronto though it is with Aviva Traders (which isn't that great, it seems based on posts here). There was a year or two where it was $50-$100 /yr more expensive (But I needed this "rental replacement add on" since I only have one vehicle which does not seem to be the same price across insurers where I add them on, so need to compare apples to apples).

PS I don't know if these "group insurance" rates still really work - but that's what was told me when I first looked for insurance here in Ontario over 10 yrs ago. Used to be in the US which helped *I'd like to think that haha* and have combined it with home also which helps
