Interior Painting: Premier Extra VS Glidden Epic VS Behr Marquee?

Hello fellow RFDers!

We need to paint 3 bedrooms, they are now baby blue and we want to paint them white.

Looking for some advice regarding brand and amount of paint.

We want one coat coverage. We noticed Premier Extra and Glidden Epic are around the same price. Behr is more.
What’s a better option here? Or any other brands not mentioned is ok too.

For how much paint we need, they are saying one galon per bedroom, sounds right?

I've used Benjamin Moore and the Behr Marquee. The Behr is far superior in my opinion.

Depends on the BM product. I've had great results with their Regal Select line. I also like Sherwin-Williams Emerald series.

Not going to get good coverage in one coat painting white over a colour. You can't go by the number and type of rooms, you need to determine the total square footage of the 3 rooms in order to determine how much paint is needed.

We used Canadian Tire's Premier line of paints for our entire house .... Different shades in all rooms including the hallways and foyer.

Nothing but Sherwin Williams here, since I tried it. Very thick, but easy to apply, hides well with one coat. A painter must take into consideration that the key is in preparation. You may have the best paint available in the world, but applying this best paint on a not correctly prepared surface is just wasting money.

+1 for Sherwin Williams
