iOS 13.4.1 Wifi issue/performance

Has anyone update their iPhones to the latest iOS and are experiencing any issues? My wife just updated hers and she can't connect to wifi now. As well the phone has become tremendously slow. It's an iPhone 7 Plus.

Been running 13.4.1 on an iPhone 8, iPhone X, and Air 2 with no issues at all.

Hmmm maybe it's Apple doing things to certain older gen phones? Because I've just got word from my company that a district manager upgraded their iPhone 6 to iOS 13.4.1 and now can't connect to corporate wifi.

I had to report apple for breaking iOS 9.3.5 handshake with older devices for FaceTime on iOS13.4. Took them an hour to test my phone so they could determine the extent of problem and report to their engineering dept. Same time, I had reported one more issue so they could allow us to remove previously used up and disconnected esim(s) settings off the icloud. (they did that for my icloud but never gave me(us) the access to remove old esims or edit/modify data in our icloud.

In current iOS13.4.1 I have already reported wifi connectivity issues with TKIP/AES encryption, FaceTime showing broken end cal to accept a call (not a normal behavior) , battery drain problems, ability to remove one or more people from group sms/iMessages, add two or more people in a conversation in FaceTime with older devices iOS 9.3.5. But, I was informed that, this may have to get forwarded again to their engineering dept and I must wait until they come up with new iOS upgrade.

Considering this is already an iOS 13.4.x I guess, new iOS up will be iOS 14 with iPhone 12. Typical Apple. Grrrrrr...

I read somewhere that they were going to release iOS 13.5 to fix these issues, and iOS 14 as you mentioned was for the new iPhone and some current ones.

I'm happy with my Android OP7Pro no issue whatsoever since day of launch when I bought it. But my wife's phone is just a brick without wifi, and she's used up all her data in her monthly plan and more. Now she's using my phone as it's great on wifi.

Have her call apple support and let them screen share her phone. They will write an extensive report and forward any/all abnormal behaviors to their dev's. This is the sure fire way to fix the problems in iOS and only by recreating the problems they could fix them. I have done that twice and both time next iOS was pushed with proper updates. I hope this helps. ciao!

No issues here in my household.

iPhone 6 - iOS 12.4.6 Update
IPad (5th gen), iPhone 6S and two Iphone 8 - 13.4.1

Also the iPhone 6 should not get any iOS 13 update so your company's district manager is probably mistaken

Had iOS 13.4.1 on a iPhone 8 over a month. Basically no issues, no speed or battery drain problems. I have noticed a few times that Control Centre is slow to appear when I swipe up on the display, don’t know if this a 13.4.1 issue.

13.4.1 might have a security issue where it is said by security researchers there is a possibility a hacker can put certain text characters in an email or message and the iOS Notification of the email or message can crash the phone or allow a hacker to take control. The temporary fix is to disable message and email notifications. This is to be fixed in an update. Maybe this claimed security issue is known by Apple to not really be a problem, as they have not commented or warned about it, and the update seems delayed.
