iOS sync question

I have 3 iPads. I want the data to sync between 3 iPads so they are identical. Is this possible? It’s a 10.5 iPad Pro, 11 iPad Pro, and 12.9” iPad Pro. Reason I’m asking is because I’m planning to give away the 10.5 and I alternate between the 11 and 12.9.

I’m thinking of using the backup of 11 to put onto the 12.9 but when it is on there it’ll backup the data as a new iPad. So how can I get it to sync? At least this is what I think will happen?

Once you login in with your Apple ID it will sync. You can have multiple devices that will each sync together. If you download an app on one iPad, it will download to each device under your login. Its all automatic. On the 12.9 you set it up using the 11's back up. But going forward it will. Each device will have its own independent back up, but will sync hand in hand. It's a lot to type the an apple eco system is very intuitive. I have an iPhone, MacBook and iPad. Everything syncs hand in hand. Documents from my MacBook I can look at on my iPhone etc.

Thanks. So is there a way for me to keep a “master” backup or is it not necessary? If I decide to sell one of my iPads, would I lose the information that is synced?

Well the master would kind of be your go to device. You won't lose any information if you sell. Everything is backed up based on your Apple ID. But it would be easier I guess to determine which device is the one you would probably keep. Depending what you are saving, I'd also recommend upgrading your iCloud storage so you can share pic, docs between devices. Unless the 5gb is enough.

Ah, one last question. All my games are saved on my 10.5 but am not sure which of the other two I'm keeping. If I play on the 12.9 and decide to keep the 11, would I lose the progress made as it's saved in the ipad's icloud backup or is it synced "centrally"?

Is there a way to test the battery as well? I've heard of coconut battery but I don't have a mac to test it.
