Different.

Also, use a VPN service when you're out in the world, connecting to random free wifi. You don't know where they've been.

As others have explained, you will get a different IP address when you connect to different networks.

What are you doing such that your IP address matters?

That's why Google's Gmail will frequently ask for 2FA when you connect from a new place, because it's a different unknown IP address.

What does stay the same is your device's hardware MAC address, which is unique in the world (usually). But that's used in the local WiFi or ethernet protocol layer, and isn't normally transmitted over the internet.

DHCP will assign you a local (LAN) IP, it will be different as you're joining different routed networks. Your internet (WAN) IP will also be different, because different service providers.

You can try forcing a static IP, but chances of this working are next to impossible.

Modern iPhones and Android phones generate random MACs when you connect to new access points unless you override this feature.

Where is it? None of my Windows devices use this feature wired of wireless. I suppose and hope it's off by default.
