iPad Pro 12.9 inch 256 gb, model year 2020 vs model year 2019

1- Does the new iPad Pro 2020 12.9 inch keyboard work and compatible with the 2019 model? 2- Conclusion, is it not worth the iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2020 compared to that of model 12.9 inch 2019 for its price?

Uh, yes?!?

(Your question doesn't really make sense.)

1. There is no 2019 model iPad Pro. You mean 2018 model.
2. The 2020 model gets 6 GB RAM standard, and starts at 128 GB. Most of the 2018 models have 4 GB RAM, and they start at 64 GB. Also, the 2020 model gets WiFi 6, Gigabit LTE (for the cellular model), slightly better GPU speed, and an updated camera system.

Thank you for these clarification. iPad Pro 12.9 inch, 256 gb , version 2018 vs iPad Pro 12.9 inch, 256 gb, version 2020. No need performance benchmark, but the value price.

The 2018 model is going to be a really nice deal when Apple clears them out. I got a refurb 11” model for $729 and I’m very happy with it. The 2020 model only provides marginal upgrades. No difference in CPU speed. I’m not sure if normal users would notice 6gb vs 4gb of ram. Also, the 2020 11” model has a slightly smaller battery. I’m not sure about the 12.9” version.

Since when does Apple Everclear things out? I thought they just discontinue and that's it?

They seem to keep selling older models refurbished and the older the model, the cheaper they sell for. They were selling 2017 iPad Pros during the last sale.

It hurts my head just trying to make out what you're saying.

The 2020 Smart Keyboard includes a track pad, the camera cut out on the back is larger and this keyboard will fit on the 2018 model. Not perfectly, but it will fit nicely. The opposite is not true, the 2018 keyboard will not fit on the 2020.

I have the 2018 model and I am not compelled to upgrade.
