An ipad mini original, 16 GB, in good working condition etc., may be worth $85. This is interesting! Thanks for the post.

No problem!
Not bad if you have an old IPad laying around .

Air 2 is actually pretty good price... $240 isn't far off what you might be able to sell it for (maybe closer to $300 but still pretty close and a lot less hassle).

Wonder if it's worth getting a cheap-o replacement screen for my cracked iPhone 6 and trading it towards something.

Half a year ago they were only offering $130 for Air 32gb. I tried to trade it in but they wouldn’t take it because I had a scruff on the corner of my iPad when I dropped it.

My iPad was not bought in Canada. Do they limit the origins of the iPad?
Interestingly! Apple trade in these old iPad with diffent prices in different countries.

In Canada:
iPad 2 Up to $70
iPad Air Up to $170
iPad Air 2 Up to $240
iPad Pro Up to $380

In UK: https://www.apple.com/uk/ipad/trade-up/
iPad Up to £95
iPad Mini Up to £140
iPad Air Up to £160
iPad Pro Up to £420

£1=$1.6862
If we can dream it, we can make it!

You had to say yes (good working order) for everything, or you wouldn't get anything, just an offer/tip to recycle it.

Sold my Air 2 16gb WIFI only for $300 within a day. $240 for the cellular version is pretty bad considering it's store credit you get.

The cheapest used 16gb Ipad Air 2 (Wifi only) on CL in Vancouver is $400. The cheapest REGULAR Ipad Air is $240 - most are $300.

$240 for an Air 2 is $150-200 less than you can get selling it.

It's worth not dealing with the hassle of lowballers, people who seem to "forget" to bring the full amount when they meet you and scammers claiming that the device is defective.
