Is iPhone 12 Pro Max the best value iPhone right now?

Debating on which non-current iPhone to get.

iPhone 12 introduce 5G and MagSafe. One of the more major changes in recent yrs.

I am right to say a used iPhone 12 Pro Max is the best bargains right now?

iPhone 14 Pro max is pushing $2k…. A iPhone 12 Pro Max is around $800 used.

Bunch of carriers have had iPhone Upgrade deals. A lot of those end up on Craigslist. Got a 12 Mini brand new in sealed box for like $550 at the time.

Battery life on the 12 Pro Max is shit.
Unless it’s a huge bargain and has more than 85% battery capacity, I’d pass.

So iPhone 13/14 pro max has larger capacity assuming the battery health index number is the same?
