MATH IS GREAT!

Where do you get 38????

MIN IS 32.35+10+grrf+TAXES.

Still..I'm impressed they're offering the 100mb/$10 data plan for iCraps. That's right. anything sub i4 is an iCrap & doesn't deserve to be even remotely associated with the gorgeous retina display 4 & 4S lines!

What's with this ******** pricing thing? VPs changed to 20.79!!!., phones for 63.42???? Nickel & Diming much???

Correction:
"Prices above include all monthly fees ‡ "

So $42.35+taxes
PayTM$154, died. SDM: $4574 Rakuten: $134.54
100% Established: BST; Heat; FB market; Kijiji *BST: FS Mens Shoes & Boots: Lowa, Taft*

It's old and slow. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's a good deal. :)

you plan to do cryptography with your phone or what? its got a 600mhz processor and 256mb ram. not to mention 32GB of storage.

I had mine since it came out and i traveled through europe and africa with mine, couldnt have done it without it. Dont plan to upgrade anytime soon. Its a great lil machine, you cant even get a ipod touch 32gb for this price. sure you need to be on contract for a year, but if you plan to use a cellphone, you will be on some sort of plan anyhow. If you have a dumb phone with the cheapest plan ~$20* 12

it still cost u about 240 a year anyways.

Not a bad deal. Even with a so-so plan you can always get the dell voice app and have free unlimited calling and LD anywhere you have wifi. After 6 months you may qualify for retention plans as well.....

This really isn't that bad. Not everyone wants to pretend to be a photographer with an iphone4 and there's no need to say that the iphone3 is a bad phone...outdated, but not ancient. People and their technology...in a few months, the 4s will be considered ancient and so on. Not a bad deal.

You could probably get a 3GS on local classifieds for 160$, no tax, no 35$ hardware fee, no contract
cold deal unless the '32gb' part is important to you...

I suppose its an okay deal if you need to open up a line anyway and don't want a 3-year plan.

Looking at $160 just for signing up.. $35 activation fee first month...

BUT you can cancel as soon as you get it.. so some of that $45 will come back...

So what is the price of this thing if you cancel the 1 year contract?

this will play nicely with the speakout 7-11 "data plan" muhaha

Precsisely, I am still using my 3GS and do quite a bit with it. I wouldn't call it crap. I doubt 90% of apple fan boys with their lastest iphones actually advance beyond answering/making phone calls or know the difference between models apart from what apple tells them.

But probably with no warranty as well. The Rogers deal will give you a phone with a 1 yr warranty.

Here's my math, hope everyone follows it.

Cheapest Rogers plan is $30 + $10 + $2.35 = $42.35
a similar plan elsewhere/fair price for what Rogers is giving $25.00
estimated monthly Rogers price difference/premium $17.35

"real" price of the phone becomes ($17.35x12months) + $35 activation fee + $63.24 equipment fee = $306.62
vs a 32Gb 4th gen Ipod Touch at FS $299

You're paying approximately the same price, but get the ability to call out with your Iphone as opposed to the Itouch.
However, after your 1yr contract is over, you can unlock it and go with another provider.
And you would have had the benefit of a 1yr warranty vs the used/craiglist option.
Based on this math, people can debate whether this deal is hot. I'm thinking it's at least a warm deal, still undecided if it's a hot deal.
