iPhone triggers car alarm

Ok ... I believe my iPhone triggers my car alarm if I leave my phone locked in my car.

Am I losing my mind? Has anyone experienced anything similar?

It will go off randomly and repeatedly on certain days, and then other times it will be fine for weeks on end. So far the only commonality I can find is that it seems to act crazy if I leave my phone in the car.

I thought it was the door sensor or trunk sensor, but I can go and push and pull on them and nothing happens even on a bad day. But if I take my phone with me, I'll come back and it has not triggered itself.

If I leave the phone in the car, it will start going off randomly within minutes of leaving.

Good Morning
To guarantee the fix, I'll take the car. Now it'll never be a problem.

Honestly, I have no idea. This shouldn't be the case. Have you tried sitting inside the car, with it off, and if the alarm starts?

How could? To trigger the car alarm, you need physically make the car some movements. With iPhone only WiFi or Bluetooth may affect the car entertainment system.

It's an OEM system. It has a microwave sensor of some sort .. having said that it was windy yesterday and it is a convertible and they are building a skyscraper on the corner and ...

.. and I remembered to bring my iPhone in.
