Currently on season 4, and my third watch-through over 10 years time roughly. It has aged extremely well, and still showcases some of the best acting of any show or movie ever. Gandolfini was an absolute gem.

I would hold out for physical discs with iTunes or Google play codes.

The series was not politically correct and I can imagine it becoming victim to "editing" in the future.

Discs plus codes gives you convenience plus safety against censorship.

I think Breaking Bad is ahead of The Wire and Sopranos but all 3 are amazing.

I never understood how people can compare the wire to the sopranos. the wire is not even close.

breaking bad was good though.

The Wire was pretty amazing, although not nearly as consistent or as dense as The Sopranos.

Breaking Bad imo was really well done but not as compelling as either.

The wire was so good for the job it did at tackling the complex issues from various perspectives. It might have been a little to real for people, which is why some people don't enjoy it. I thought it was great with exception to the last season, and have no problem considering it one of the best all-time.

I also enjoyed breaking bad, but found that the first two seasons weren't as good. Might be an unpopular opion but just my thoughts.
