Unlimited Home Internet 100M $39.95 - Western Canada

Deal Link:
Price:
39.95
Retailer:
IVC Telecom
Just chatted online with the customer service reps at IVC Telecom.
They told me IVC Telecom is offering unlimited internet service in Vancouver, Calgary and other cities in Western Canada, and the monthly fee for the new unlimited 100Mbps internet plan is $39.95 with no contracts required, and it also comes with free hardware rental such as router and modem.
They also told me that IVC has a 2-year price guarantee, so the monthly fee won’t go up for 2 years.
With the $59 installation fee included, the first time payment should be about $90-ish.

What the hell? This is awesome!!! Anyone used them before and how is it?

Edit: looks like it’s new in the west, anyone used in the east and how are usually these ISPs that lease last mile from Shaw? Can the installation fee be waived?

Heard a lot of good things about IVC before. This is actually a pretty nice deal!

This is the new provider with lots of bad reviews. I was planning to go with them but can't afford downtime since i'm working from home because of the COVID.

Please share your experience if you are with IVC.

I live in the west as well and we don't even have fiber optic internet service so the maximum speed i can with the regular internet service provider is 50MB download speed and i really want to get the 100MB plan from IVC Telecom just wondering how reliable are they. Any insight is appreciated.

From what I hear IVC uses Shaw. A friend of mine has been with IVC for a couple months and her experience with IVC has been pretty great

"we don't have fiber optic internet" -> I suppose you haven't heard of Novus?

Wow! this is a good deal. I heard about IVC recently, some of my friends are using the service. They said they are getting stable internet service at an affordable price. Looking forward to using their internet soon.

No never heard. In my City (Regina) Sasktel and Access are the renowned ISP and according to them Infinet (Fiber Optic) plans are not offered in my part of the city so 50MBPS is the maximum we can get i will definitely look in to this option. Thanks a bunch.
