Hey @SomeGuyGG Can you confirm you have none of the issues mentioned here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Jabra/comments ... g_problem/ after the upgrade? I am tempted to upgrade.SomeGuyGG wrote: ↑ Been using them all day. Did the update, no issues so far. Had one temporary left ear disconnect before updating [originally had 1.25 firmware] when I was testing passthrough during a test call. No issues after the update.
I had to try updating twice, first time after closing the case it didn't start [not a blinking purple light on the case]. Opened it, took them out, put them back in the case and closed it and it started fine, took ~5 minutes to update.
The Comply Ear Tips from their website definitely do not fit, they are longer, don't fit as tightly, huge loss in bass. Will stick with the plastic ones it comes with for now. I'll keep them and maybe use them on other earbuds I have.
Sound quality is decent, I lowered the bass a bit using the EQ. For $130, can't complain. These are my first truly wireless earbuds.
Call quality sounds pretty good. Better quality than my Bose QC35 or laptop mic even with some background noise [TV turned up]. I used the Skype Echo test call to check it.

Excellent! Thanks so much, I feel it was bad lot which did not get the upgrades right, I'll give update a shot and see for myself. Did you feel if the bass actully went down post upgrade?SomeGuyGG wrote: ↑ Just tested it. Firmware 1.28 (1033) English
10 Hz >> 200 Hz, no issues. Start hearing/feeling bass at around just before 30hz. Left/right balance is perfect, no crackle or balance issues.
22 kHz >> 8 kHz, at 17khz noise begins, left ear does crackle a bit at 17-14khz, but to me it sounds more like bluetooth compression artifacts. Left/right are nice and balanced and high pitched by about 14khz.
Bass Shaker test is perfect, no issues, smooth transitions.
I haven't had any left ear drops at all since upgrading, after about a week of use. Though I only use them now for like an hour or two a day.
I use a volume level that would be the same as if I had some desktop speakers playing. Not super loud, but loud enough that is someone talks to me I can't understand them.
