[Just Eat] $7 off no minimum order

Just saw a post on facebook where its $7 off the next order, no minimum, with the discount code 'ordernow7'. Im not sure when it expires though.

I just ordered a 12 dollar meal for only $5. God I love me a discounted sushi dinner =D

I got the receipt from one of the restaurants and it looks like these coupons come directly out of their pockets and not just eat. Can anyone confirm? I would feel bad ordering $10 and getting $7 off.

It's a condition of advertising with Just Eat. No one is forcing restaurants to advertise with them.

In west Edmonton, all of the restaurants raised their minimum order prices and some even started charging for deliveries. Lol no saving.

Can't you just choose to pickup and bypass the delivery charge?

This is what I do. It helps to live near a bunch of restaurants.

Most restaurant, especially the smaller ones, are family owned and have no idea what they signed up for, including those finer details.

And yes, in a way, they feel forced to advertise with them, just like most coffee shops can't survive without offering wifi. They are the main distribution for takeout now, they didn't increase market shares of anybody, everybody sign up because everybody else was doing it. Good on them, but the point is, that kind of practice is bs. If you offer a promotion like that, where your cut stays the same, that's just wrong.

Where do you actually input the promo code? I am on the APP and after I click pickup and payment with cash, it just says "place my order".
