KDL55-w800b go for it?

Looking at 55 inch tvs. This one is some 400 less than the 2015 model.

I've read it has great black levels but doesn't get bright enough for non-night time viewing. 3d is terrible but I was never really interested in it.

Anyone have this model? 1100 at best buy, discontinued everywhere else.

Good to goat this price?

If you can still get it at $599, then hell yeah.
Otherwise, wait for other 2014 TVs to be on sale.
